Is the Holy Quran the Last and Final Revelation of God - The Last Testament? I |
Islam as a religion establishes its root to the Holy Quran and the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (*PBUH). The essence of Prophet Muhammad's (*PBUH) teaching comes itself from the Holy Quran as stated in the Quran by Allah (SWT): Holy Quran; Surah 04; Verses:
164: Of some Apostles We have already told thee the story; of others We have not; and to Moses Allah spoke direct. 165: Apostles who gave good news as well as warning that mankind after (the coming) of the Apostles should have no plea against Allah: for Allah is Exalted in Power Wise. 166: But Allah beareth witness that what He hath sent unto thee He hath sent from His (Own) Knowledge and the angels bear witness: but enough is Allah for a Witness. 167: Those who reject faith and keep off (men) from the way of Allah have verily strayed far far away from the path. 168: Those who reject faith and do wrong Allah will not forgive them nor guide them to any way. 169: Except the way of Hell to dwell therein for ever: and this to Allah is easy. 170: O mankind! the Apostle hath come to you in truth from Allah: believe in him: it is best for you. But if ye reject faith to Allah belong all things in the heavens and on earth: and Allah is All-Knowing All-Wise. Thus when Allah completed his favor to mankind and
completed his chosen religion 'Islam' for mankind the following verses were revealed: The completion of 'Islam' as a religion also provides for the completion of the chain of Prophets from Allah Almighty to renew his message to all people of the earth from time to time. Allah Almighty reveals in the Holy Quran: Holy Quran; Surah 33; Verse 40: Muhammad
is not the father of any of your men but (he is) the Apostle of Allah and the Seal of the
Prophets: and Allah has full knowledge of all things. 76: Verily this Quran doth explain to the Children of Israel most of the matters in which they disagree. 77: And it certainly is a Guide and Mercy to those who believe. |
