Is the Holy Quran the Last and Final Revelation of God - The Last Testament?
I

Islam as a religion establishes its root to the Holy Quran and the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (*PBUH). The essence of Prophet Muhammad's (*PBUH) teaching comes itself from the Holy Quran as stated in the Quran by Allah (SWT):

Holy Quran; Surah 04; Verses:

163
: We have sent thee inspiration as We sent it to Noah and the Messengers after him; We sent inspiration to Abraham Ismail Isaac Jacob and the Tribes to Jesus Job Jonah Aaron and Solomon and to David We gave the Psalms.

164
: Of some Apostles We have already told thee the story; of others We have not; and to Moses Allah spoke direct.

165
: Apostles who gave good news as well as warning that mankind after (the coming) of the        Apostles should have no plea against Allah: for Allah is Exalted in Power Wise.

166: But Allah beareth witness that what He hath sent unto thee He hath sent from His (Own) Knowledge and the angels bear witness: but enough is Allah for a Witness.

167
: Those who reject faith and keep off (men) from the way of Allah have verily strayed far far away from the path.

168: Those who reject faith and do wrong Allah will not forgive them nor guide them to any way.

169: Except the way of Hell to dwell therein for ever: and this to Allah is easy.

170: O mankind! the Apostle hath come to you in truth from Allah: believe in him: it is best for you. But if ye reject faith to Allah belong all things in the heavens and on earth: and Allah is All-Knowing All-Wise.

Thus when Allah completed his favor to mankind and completed his chosen religion 'Islam' for mankind the following verses were revealed:

Holy Quran; Surah 05; Verse 03: This day have those who reject faith given up all hope of your religion: yet fear them not but fear Me. This day have I perfected your religion for you completed my favor upon you and have chosen for you Islam as your religion.

The completion of 'Islam' as a religion also provides for the completion of the chain of Prophets from Allah Almighty to renew his message to all people of the earth from time to time. Allah Almighty reveals in the Holy Quran:

Holy Quran; Surah 33; Verse 40: Muhammad is not the father of any of your men but (he is) the Apostle of Allah and the Seal of the Prophets: and Allah has full knowledge of all things.

With Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) also ends the chain of revelations from Allah to mankind and it still stands that the last of the Holy Scriptures available and accepted by both Muslims and non-Muslims is the Holy Quran, still available in its preserved and original from. The Quran is a Book well guarded and preserved:

Holy Quran; Surah 15; Verses:

09
: We have without doubt sent down the Message; and We will assuredly guard it (from corruption).

10
: We did send apostles before thee amongst the religious sects of old:
11: But never came an apostle to them but they mocked him.

The term 'The Last Testament' has been promoted solely by Sheikh Ahmad Deedat during the 1980s as a comparison to the other terms 'The Old Testament' and 'The New Testament' referring to the Torah and the Bible respectively (although the Bible constitutes both of them).

Since the Holy Quran completes and solves the controversies and confusions of the People of Old, it is indeed 'The Last Testament' of Allah Almighty:

Holy Quran; Surah 27; Verses:

76
:  Verily this Quran doth explain to the Children of Israel most of the matters in which they disagree.

77
:  And it certainly is a Guide and Mercy to those who believe.
